Google says LoopLens is unverified
LoopLens is in beta while Google completes its review of our Gmail access. Until that finishes, Google shows a warning that the app is not verified. To continue, choose Advanced, then Go to LoopLens. LoopLens only asks to read your Gmail; it cannot send, delete, label or move mail. During the beta Google limits LoopLens to 100 new users.
My Google Workspace admin blocks LoopLens
Some Google Workspace admins block apps that Google has not yet verified. If you see a message that your organization blocks the app, your admin needs to allow LoopLens in the Google Admin console under Security, Access and data control, API controls. Email us for the details your admin needs.
Disconnecting Gmail
To stop LoopLens reading your Gmail right away, remove LoopLens in your Google Account under Security, Third-party apps and services. Closing your LoopLens account also revokes its Google access for the inboxes still connected. Removing an inbox in the app does not revoke that access, so use your Google Account to stop it.
Your Gmail data and how to delete it
For messages from the last 30 days, LoopLens reads the date, sender, recipients and subject, and Gmail's short message snippet, never full message bodies or attachments. LoopLens does not keep the snippets. No customer Gmail data is sent to TypeSafe at this time. It keeps scan results and evidence while your account is open so your reports stay available. To delete your LoopLens data, the account owner closes the account from the Account page; data is deleted from the LoopLens app 30 days after closure. To stop new reading at any time, remove LoopLens in your Google Account.
Alerts
Alerts are part of paid plans and go only to the account owner, never to the people who emailed you. Alerts are sent by email to the owner's sign-in address and say how many conversations need attention so you can review them in the app; they do not include names or message text. Alerts are sent between 8 AM and 5 PM in your business time zone. Text alerts are coming later; when they are available, reply STOP to any LoopLens text to stop texts.
Billing and plans
Billing is monthly per business, through Stripe. Change or cancel your plan from Billing in the app. See pricing.
Closing your account
The account owner can close the account from the Account page by typing the business name to confirm. Scanning stops and LoopLens revokes its Google access for the inboxes still connected. A free account closes right away; a paid account closes at the end of the paid period. Account data is deleted from the LoopLens app 30 days after closure.
